I'm Patricia Henry

I’m a qualified teacher and lecturer in fashion and design, with over 45 years of experience in garment alterations and bespoke sewing for weddings, proms and special occasions.

I run 1-2-1 private sewing design lessons specialised to your sewing needs , these can be basic classes if you are just starting to sew. Or can be advanced if you are already a competent dressmaker.

Course Prices:

1 hour course

Get to know your sewing machine £50

To be able to thread and sew on your machine at end of 1 hour course

Private classes starting basic course per person

2hr lessons x 4 starting from £320.00 block booked – tailored/dependent around learner needs

Advanced learner class per person 2 hr x 4 lessons from £560 – block booked -tailored/dependent around learner needs .

I tailor the course around your needs.

I also run peaceful, countryside sewing retreats where you can learn new skills, meet like-minded people and create beautiful garments from scratch—all in a friendly, teacher-led environment.

On all courses you are guided through laying patter on fabric the correct way, cutting out, and guidance through to making your garment.

The lecturer is in the class with you for support and guidance

All lessons are fashion and design qualified lecturer in class throughout the week in lessons.
